Bits and bobs from a British glasses-wearing, sweary, fat, disabled, atheist ex-Catholic, anti-capitalist, pacifist feminist lesbian with eclectic tastes.
I normally blog at incurable-hippie.blogspot.com.
Sometimes I have the time and patience to get from an idea to a fully fleshed-out, penciled, inked and coloured comic.
Sometimes I don’t.
I didn’t make this, but I applaud and salute http://cedarbox.deviantart.com/ for its creation.

I’ll never forget my grandmother’s reaction to me coming out. I called her up on the phone one summer when I was 16 and had the following conversation:
Grandmother: “So, are you interested in any cute boys?”
Me: “No, grandma. I think I’m a lesbian, actually. I have a crush on a girl.”Grandmother: “Oh! Is she your girlfriend?”
Me: “No, I haven’t told her.”
Grandmother: “Well, you have to! You need to start having summer romances. They’re the best!”
Why can’t it be that simple for EVERYONE’S family?
