Actually this is a human being; participating in human being endeavors, and just generally existing without any intention of providing you with an excuse to shame people because “their excuse is invalid”.
So stop using disabled people as inspiration porn.
THIS. Fucking hell, people, I’m getting on with my shit just the same as you. I don’t need you telling me it’s inspiring, or I’m brave, or any of that. Fuck brave. Fuck inspiring.
Also, I think the inspiration porn bullshit feeds directly into ableism - he’s doing it and he’s visibly disabled, so why aren’t you? Because I’m fucking disabled and not all disabilities are the same and FUCK YOU.
